WORKSHOPS & COURSES

In November 2021, we began the first of our workshops and courses designed to enhance young musicians’ knowledge and provide practical skills in specific areas of music.

The first of these was a series of online workshops on songwriting led by one of Scotland’s leading young song writers, Yvonne Lyon. The LCMF Songwriting Workshops with Yvonne Lyon was held online over three weeks with a combination of group workshops and one-to-one sessions with the tutor, with “gallery seats” for the group sessions for those who wanted to observe but not participate..

Feedback from the participants reflected the success of these workshops and the brilliant teaching style and methds of Yvonne Lyon.
